Graphic Recording and Facilitation
Graphic recording and facilitation
Graphic recording is the process of capturing ideas, dialogue and group processes through illustration, visual metaphors, and other graphic elements. The process of graphic recording can be used in your meetings, seminars, workshops, and conferences to help engage participants, increase motivation and creativity, and stimulate visual thinking. It can complement the work done by the group or the facilitator in different kind of sessions, such as World Cafés, seminars, conferences, meetings, etc.
Graphic facilitation is the process of guiding the group in their discussion using the graphic elements that make the group voice visible. Both techniques improve the group communication and decision-making processes, helping the participants to feel included and heard, as well as producing a visual summary of the session that can help participants to recall the group process and the results of the session.
